In reply to Michelle. You can use untreated lumber for garden beds. Or if you want something more organic wood you've cut and planed yourself. Simply planting straight into the ground also works.

Thanks so much for this article! What type of garden beds do you recommend? If toxic materials in the wood, plastic, etc…, the toxic materials can leach into the crops.
