Katie, You’re a genius, and I love your recipes! You inspired me to experiment with my oil-based facial moisturizer/serum. What I was using was OK, but it was fairly oily until it soaked into my skin, which (I thought) took way too long. So after reading this recipe, I adjusted my serum recipe by subbing aloe vera gel for half the oil. It works wonderfully! No more waiting for it to eventually absorb into my skin, and it feels more dewy and fresh, while still benefitting from the EOs and (jojoba and almond) carrier oils. Thank You!
